
Lootbox: Frostbite, Bufo Bufo, Guard Rework, Shooting Stars, Natural Meteors, Item Flips, & Special Set Balancing
Believe it or not, it's already been an entire week since we released Season 2 Map 1, and we've got more content coming your way! As the days get colder and we slowly shift into a more festive element, we have a lot of fun events to look forward to. Of course we have also been reviewing suggestions and feedback from the community and we truly hope you guys enjoy this update!
Lootbox: Frostbite & Space-Bot Loot Updates
This week we are introducing a new lootbox, Frostbite, along with a refreshing new Space-Bot loot table! Don't forget, the Advent Calendar is still in /store for a limited time so grab one while you still can!



Bufo Bufo Boss
Bufo Bufo has finally arrived! Cursed by an ancient spell, his massive, warty form radiates an eerie glow, and those who trespass his domain face the weight of his sorrowful, yet relentless, wrath. The boss will occur every 5 hours, simply type /bossevent join bufobufo when you see the queue open.

Guard Rework
Our traditional mine guards watch has finally come to an end, and we are rotating in a new team. I heard the new guards we hired are a little different then the previous though...
- Guard logic has been completely reworked, they will now function more organically and combat will be much smoother.
- Guards will no longer be Custom Models & are now Player NPC's.
- Offensive & Defensive enchants will work with guards.
- If you die to a guard, your loot will not be able to be picked up and will "burn".
- Guard Relations such as Neutral, Guarded, Villain will now display on scoreboard.
- Becoming Villain will display clearly on-screen.
Beware, these new guards are stronger so know what you're up against.

Shooting Stars
After we vaulted Envoys, we quickly sought out a solution so that we could have a similar feature but that can scale and be useful throughout the map! That being said, we came up with... Shooting Stars! Shooting Stars will occur every 30 minutes throughout the warzone, spawning in a few chests and g-kits.


Natural Meteors
We are thrilled to finally introduce Natural Meteors to the server! A highly requested feature, these will work exactly as they sound. Every 30 minutes a Regular meteor will fall from space while every 4 hours a Heroic meteor will fall from space, randomly in the warzone. Get over there fast for some momentum and loot!

Item Flips
Just like it sounds, players will now be able to gamble their items with ease! To Item Flip, you will need an "Item Flip Credit" which you can claim and each one allows for 1 use. From there, send an Item Flip to a player by simply typing /itemflip (if) <IGN> and a notification will popup in their chat. Each of you will then place your items in the menu, select a color, and confirm. Don't overdo it though or you might lose all your valuables!

Special Set Balancing
We have seen your concerns regarding the new special sets along with previously existing ones and are making some well-needed changes.
Sonic Set
- Passive Dodge reduced from 8% → 4% (Armor)
Shadow Set
- Shadow Ability - Chance upon incoming damage to grant Speed IV to wearer for 6 seconds (Armor)
Goliath Set
- Skull Basher ability cooldown reduced from 5 minutes → 3 minutes (Weapon)
Bandit Set
- Chance to give 2x bandit tokens (Weapon)
- Bandit Retribution - Chance on incoming damage from bandit to stun attacking bandit for 4 seconds (Armor)
Please note we have a new system in placed that we are slowly rolling out so any pre-existing set pieces on the server which have outdated lore that do not reflect the new changes will automatically update visually. The set & it's perks/abilities will function as normal, regardless.
Bugs, QoL's, & Other Changes
- Scoreboard & Tab updated
- All events now display in /events, unfortunately we didn't want to do this but we had to. We are exploring solutions to display event timers automatically on screen.
- Scoreboard was refined to include guard relations.
- /sets updated to reflect special set changes.
- Updated /vote menu & vote rewards.
- Potion Based Trinkets will no longer receive excessive amounts of velocity on usage.
- Wormhole Pickaxe return protection has been implemented to prevent others from filling your inventory as you are enchanting forcing you to drop your pickaxe as it returns now if the returned pickaxe is dropped it will have 5 minutes of drop protection until it has been picked up.
- General item drop protection has been implemented (5 seconds) and an option to toggle this off has been implemented.
- /toggle Combat Indicators has been implemented to reduce combat overhead visual clutter.
- /toggle Relic has been removed from options menu as this content has been removed.
- Outpost will no longer send a excessive amount of neutralizing messages to the currently capturing gang.
- G-Kit Armor will no longer be unbreakable as this was a bug.
- G-Kit Armor that is older and still had unbreakable status will update in combat.
- Instant TP within specific zones has been removed and warmup will now initiate in all teleport scenarios.
- Energy extraction will no longer work if your inventory is full preventing energy loss.
- Guard backpack kill requirement has been fixed.
- Fixed odd rare scenario where players can place mine drop blocks within their own cell.
- Guard relation will now update properly in different worlds.
